$20 Online Medical Marijuana Evaluations for Dutchtown Residents

Telemedicine has made it possible for many eligible Dutchtown residents to complete the medical portion of the certification process without visiting a clinic in person.

Some providers may offer online medical marijuana evaluations starting at around $20 through promotional or discounted pricing.

The $20 amount refers to the medical evaluation service when such pricing is available. It does not replace Missouri's separate patient registration fee.

A typical online process begins with the patient providing basic medical information and meeting remotely with an eligible Missouri medical professional.

During the appointment, the physician or nurse practitioner reviews the patient's condition and determines whether medical marijuana certification is appropriate.

When a patient qualifies, the medical professional submits the certification electronically through Missouri's system. The patient then completes the separate state application within 30 days of the certification date.

The patient application includes required identification, a recent photograph, and other applicable documentation.

After Missouri approves the application, the digital medical marijuana card becomes available through the registry.

For Dutchtown residents who prefer completing their evaluation from home, telemedicine can make the certification portion of the process more convenient. Patients should still make sure the professional providing the evaluation is authorized to certify medical cannabis patients in Missouri.

Payment for an evaluation should never be treated as a guarantee that a patient will qualify. Medical eligibility is determined by the certifying professional, while final patient ID approval comes from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
